It began with a dads club at one elementary school.
A few hundred fathers who wanted to show up for their kids.
Carpool at seven in the morning. Reading to a class. Standing on the blacktop at recess. Good men, real work, and a school that was better for it.
And all of it held together by one man's phone. The roster was a spreadsheet. The calendar was a photo of a paper handout. Signups happened by whoever answered the group text first. When his kid finished fifth grade, the whole thing was going to leave with him.
So we built what should have existed. Then it became obvious that none of those problems were about dads, or about school.
Clubs do not die of boredom. They die in the handoff. Why this exists
That club runs on this today. It is the only one so far, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend at a network we have not built. Everything here works because it had to work for them first.
